Why can't America lose it's dependency on oil

The United States is in a war with the middle eastern nations that get all there freakin' money from us buying there stupid oil. These nations are so stubborn because the United States has enabled them to be they have no economic diversity, they give some of their money to terrorist organizations to attack innonocent people, and they jack up their prices and expect us to pay 70 dollars a barrel or more. So, what do we do we let them jack those prices up because our current administration does not seek towards alternatives instead they rather be debating meaningless debates about gay marriage, banning stem-cell research, abortion, condoms, and birth-control pills. Well let me tell you something congress all those topics don't matter right now because people are dying right now in Iraq because of Islamic-extremist blowing themselves up and killing our men. But who's funding these crazy jackasses, oil. I thought you guys were pro-life well maybe you might be able to be that way if you tried to seek towards an alternative towards this climate changing, terror funding, oil. So, congress it won't matter if women abort their children or use birth control pills when our oil buying buys one of these nations a nuke which they already probably have.

Why do vegetarians feed their animals food with meat

I'm confused why does a vegetarian not eat other animals when dogs and cats have some traces of animals in their processed foods, birds eat worms and sharks eat fish. Aren't our bodies intended to eat both meat and vegetables. Aren't we omnivores. I'm against animal cruelty, but I mean if your cat is eating traces of fish in it's cat food, your dog has traces of chicken in their food, and you have 100% tofu in your tofurky doesn't that seem kind of unusual. Animals are eating meat but you don't because you find it wrong. You find it wrong that these caged animals are being slaughtered left and right but then you feed them to your pets. I'm confused.
